A Binghamton man is charged with criminal sale and possession of heroin.

The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team says 21 year old Kenneth Godfrey was arrested October 15 after Troopers and Vestal Police searched his Mather Street apartment and his vehicle.

Authorities say they seized 371 wax paper envelopes containing heroin, and $408.

Godfrey is charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Godfrey was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
