Hockey fans are ramping up their excitement for the Binghamton Devils regular season opener on Saturday, October 5.  The Devils host the Utica Comets at 7:05 PM at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

After missing the playoffs last season the Devils are setting their sights on bigger and better things in the 2019-20 campaign.  The New Jersey Devils joined the Boston Bruins, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the host Buffalo Sabres for the Prospects Challenge in Buffalo last week.  It is one of several round-robin tournaments that go on in the preseason for NHL teams and their young prospects.  The Devils finished at 1-2-0 with their win over the Boston Bruins by a final score of 3-2 in overtime.

Binghamton fans will get the chance to see their Devils in a pair of preseason games.  Binghamton host Utica on Saturday, September 28 at 7:05 PM.  Then on Sunday, September 29 Binghamton hosts the Syracuse Crunch at 3:00 PM.
