Binghamton Devils Look to Start Another Winning Streak
The Binghamton Devils look to start another winning streak when they travel to Utica to meet the Comets on Wednesday night. After reeling off an eight-game winning streak the Devils have lost their last two games and are 8-2 over their last ten-game stretch. Their recent streak leaves them still in last place but closer to climbing over a couple of opponents and moving up in the North Division standings.
The Devils are 17-19-4-0 for 38 points in 40 games. That leaves them one point behind Cleveland and six in back of the Syracuse Crunch. Belleville and Utica share the top spot in the North with 54 points.
Binghamton travels to Utica to begin the week on Wednesday followed by a visit to Syracuse on Friday night. The Devils return home to host the Rochester Americans on Saturday evening at 7:05.
The following weekend the Devils salute the movie "Slapshot" with a weekend rolling back the back the hands of time and reliving some of the wild and crazy times of the North American Hockey League, the Broome Dusters and Johnstown Jets (Charlestown Chiefs). The Devils host Providence on Friday, January 31 and Rochester on Saturday, February 1.
