Binghamton Devils Home for Weekend Pair
The Binghamton Devils play a pair of home games this weekend at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Friday night the Devils host the Toronto Marlies at 7:05 and then on Saturday the Bridgeport Sound Tigers visit for another 7:05 start. There will be a free postgame skate with the Devils after Saturday's game.
Heading into Friday's game the Marlies are just two points ahead of the Devils in the AHL's North Division. Toronto checks in with 35 points while the Devils have 33 points. Rochester continues to lead the North with 44 points while Syracuse is right behind with 42.
Saturday's opponents from Bridgeport are in a close race for the top in the Atlantic Division. They trail first place Charlotte by just two points. Charlotte is on top with 51 points while the Sound Tigers have 48.
Binghamton's homestand continues with a next Wednesday contest against the Syracuse Crunch. That game is also set for a 7:05 P.M. start.
