The BeEmpowered clean energy workshops will be held at 6:30-8 p.m. October 15 at the Broome County Public Library in Binghamton, October 30 a Cornell Cooperative Extension in the Tioga County Office Building in Owego, November 4 at the Big Flats Community Center in  Chemung and November 13 at Guernsey Memorial Library on Court Street, Norwich in Chenango County.rahan talks about several steps homeowners and renters can take to be more energy efficient and use cleaner resources during the upcoming heating season while Burke talks about the growing trend of community solar farm programs and the incentives for private solar power installations.

October is National Energy Action Month.
