Bearcats Men Hosted New Hampshire

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team hosted the New Hampshire Wildcats January 17 at 2 PM at the Events Center (air at 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Both teams are 1-2 in America East play.  The Wildcats had the better overall record at 8-9 while Binghamton was 2-17.

Romello Walker is the current America East Rookie of the Week and has hit in double figures in three of his last four games.  Marlon Beck had a season high 20 points at Albany on January 14.  Bobby Ahearn also scored in double digits with 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

The Wildcats have a revamped lineup this season with only one senior expected to be in their starting unit.

The Bearcats held a 16-10 series edge over New Hampshire.  Last season Binghamton  swept both games in the conference meetings.
