BAE says the deal will mean over 1,300 high-tech jobs in the state with the systems produced at the Endicott manufacturing facilities.

The Series-E systems are part of a collaboration between BAE and New York to reduce transportation emissions and improve air quality.

The Endicott plant will supply 435 systems for the bus fleet, expanding its reach to more than 2,000 transit buses across the state of New York and more than 12,000 globally.
