B-Sens Sweep in Newfoundland
The Binghamton Senators enjoyed their two-game visit to Newfoundland this week. They completed a two games in two nights sweep last night with a 6-4 win over the St. John's IceCaps. On Tuesday night Binghamton won in overtime 3-2 on Casey Bailey's goal.
Last (Wednesday) night Ben Harpur notched four assists to help the B-Sens get the sweep. Andrew Hammond earned the win in net making 31 saves.
With the two road wins Binghamton ups its record to 22-25-2-1 for 47 points. This puts the B-Sens just one point behind fifth place Utica in the American Hockey League's North Division.
Binghamton returns home on Saturday night to meet long-time rival Rochester at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The game is set for a 7:05 PM start.
