The Binghamton Senators and Albany Devils played evenly through regulation and overtime but in a shootout the Devils got a goal from John Quenneville to give them a 3-2 decision.  Binghamton scored the first two goals of the game with Jason Akeson and Brandon Gormley finding the net in the first period.

The Devils battled back in the second period with a pair of goals to tie the game.  Neither team could score in the third 20 minutes.  In the overtime both teams had quality scoring chances but could not put the puck in the net.

Matt O'Connnor sparkled in goal for the B-Sens with 41 saves.  Mackenzie Blackwood earned the win in net for the Devils who will move their franchise to Binghamton next season.

Binghamton will play another home game tonight (Saturday) at 7:05 PM when the Hershey Bears visit.  The Broome Sports Foundation will be on hand for the second straight night with dozens of collectibles and memorabilia items available for bid. i
