The Albany Devils edged the Binghamton Senators last (Friday) night 3-2 in overtime at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.  Albany's Matt Lorito scored the Devils' second goal with just seven seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime.

The B-Sens got a goal from Jason Akeson early in the third period and another from Michael Keranen to go up 2-1.  12 seconds into the overtime Jim O'Brien, a former B-Sen, scored the winning tally.

Goaltender Chris Driedger made 24 saves in the game while Albany netminder Ken Appleby turned aside 23 shots to get the win.

Binghamton enjoys a rare Saturday night off and travels to Rochester to face the Americans tomorrow (Sunday) for a 5:05 PM game against the Americans. The B-Sens return home to host the Syracuse Crunch Friday, March 18th at 7:05 PM.
