The Binghamton Mets returned to NYSEG Stadium for an eight-game homestand.

The B-Mets wasted no time getting comfortable back home with a 10-1 shellacking of the Erie SeaWolves in the first of four contests at NYSEG Stadium.  Rainy Lara got the start for Binghamton against Erie's Tommy Collier.

Binghamton begins the week in second place in the Eastern League's Eastern Division.  The B-Mets are 68-57 on the season and trail the Reading Fightin Phils by 3.5 games and lead third-place Trenton by 3.5 games.  Erie is 54-71 and in last place in the Western Division trailing first-place Bowie by 16.5 games.

Following the four-game Erie series the B-Mets entertain New Hampshire in another four-game series at NYSEG Stadium.  The top two teams in each division quality for the post-season playoffs.
