B.C. Humane Society Seeks Home for Hard-Luck Pup

This week’s Muttley Monday pooch has had a really rough past and is looking for her luck to turn around in a loving forever home.

Demetra came to the B.C. Humane Society starving and pregnant with a large litter of puppies.

Within a week after her arrival, Demetra became a mom to ten puppies. Two months later, all ten pups were adopted but Demetra remained waiting for a home.

Staff at the shelter say she is extremely affection, responsive and will bond with her new owner.

She’s feeling better and now and is playful, good with the other dogs and every volunteer who works with her.
