Afton Man Dead Following Crash

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say they suspect an Afton man suffered a heart attack before crashing his vehicle on County Route 39 November 27.

64 year old Steven Nickerson was pronounced dead at Tri-Town Hospital following the 1:30 p.m. crash in which his vehicle left the road and hit an earth embankment and overturned.
