This year will mark the 34th year that the Church Women United of Oxford and St. Joseph's Church will sponsor a completely free community Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Joseph's Church.

If you live in or around the Oxford and McDonough areas, you're invited to celebrate Thanksgiving with a free dinner from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day which is Thursday, November 22nd. The dinner will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 3 Scott Street in Oxford.

The Thanksgiving Dinner is completely homemade and the menu will include sliced roast turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed squash, turkey gravy, bread stuffing, assorted quick breads and rolls, corn, coleslaw, cranberry sauce. For dessert, there will be an assortment of pies.

This Thanksgiving Dinner is free, however, if you'd like to make a free will donation so that this wonderful event can continue each year, you can do so at NBT Bank in Oxford or at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Scott Street in Oxford.
