Broome County Sheriff Releases Arrest Report With Multiple Charges Filed

The Broome County Sheriff's Department released these charges and arrest report on September 2, 2026. Activities and arrests are listed below. Persons accused of any crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Multiple Charges

Tonya Stavana of Endicott was charged with two counts of Assault in the 1st Degree, Class B Felonies, Unlawful Imprisonment in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, Menacing in the 2nd Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Union.

22-year-old Nicholas Bagg from Windsor was charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, following a motorcycle pursuit in the Village of Johnson City.

Prison Contraband

Following an investigation into contraband at the Broome County Correctional Facility, Angel Alicea, age 30 of Binghamton, was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony

Brandon Hannah of Norwich was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony, following a contraband investigation at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

20-year-old Rayquel Gadson from Binghamton was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a Class D Felony, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony, following an investigation into contraband at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Aggravated Family Offense

Cody Hawkins of Binghamton was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E Felony, and Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, following an investigation into an order of protection violation at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Criminal Possession

Following a narcotics investigation in the Village of Endicott, Joshua Antalek of Endicott was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.

51-year-old Robert Mies of Greene was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Menacing in the 3rd Degree,  following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Fenton.

Charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree - Michael Kormos from Binghamton, following a narcotics investigation in the City of Binghamton.

Renee Blanford, age 49 of Endicott, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs (1st Offense) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following a DWAI investigation in the Town of Union.

Following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton, Jocelyn Hyde of Johnson City was charged with eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree.

Criminal Contempt

45-year-old James Finch of Johnson City was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, following an investigation into an order of protection violation in the City of Binghamton.

Harrassment

Christopher Kizis from Endicott was charged with two counts of Harassment in the 2nd Degree, following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Union.

Anthony Haynes, age 54, of the Town of Dickinson was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Violation, following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Dickinson.

Forgery

Following a forgery investigation in the Town of Dickinson, Gabriel Marks from Windsor was charged with Forgery in the 2nd Degree and Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree, Class D Felonies.

Criminal Trespass

68-year-old William Bush of the Town of Chenango was charged with Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree,  following a trespassing investigation in the Town of Chenango.

Burglary

Seth Jennings from Binghamton was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, and Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony, following a burglary investigation in the Town of Union.

Following an investigation into a dispute in the Town of Union, Patrick Monaco, age 65 of Binghamton, was charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree, a Class B Felony, and Assault in the 3rd Degree.

Criminal Mischief

36-year-old Olivia Kellogg of Johnson City was charged with Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, a Class E Felony, following a criminal mischief investigation at the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Obstructing Governmental Administration

Dustin Tompkins of Binghamton was charged with Child Endangerment, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.

Thomas Paradis, Jr., age 37 of Binghamton, was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest, following a warrant execution in the City of Binghamton.

Multiple Traffic Violations

Following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Triangle, Joseph  Matson from Marathon, was charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony, Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense), a Misdemeanor, Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs (1st Offense), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree.

24-year-old Zachary Lawrence of Conklin was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense) and Aggravated DWI, Misdemeanors, along with multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop in the Town of Conklin.
