Police say a customized video game control device was stolen from a mailbox by a Tompkins County woman.

Authorities say 23-year-old Mayra Lopez of Ithaca was arrested in connection with the reported theft of a Playstation 4 controller valued at $225.

According to State Police, the special-ordered customized control device was taken from a mailbox in the Town of Enfield. The theft is believed to have occurred on January 15.

Investigators say Lopez allegedly took the stolen controller to a Gamestop store in Ithaca. Police say she ultimately kept the device.

Lopez was ordered to appear in Enfield town court on February 8.
