News Radio 1290 WNBF celebrates its 90th Anniversary with a gala event at Roberson Museum and Science Center at 30 Front Street in Binghamton.  The gala will be held on Friday, September 22nd from 5-9 PM.  WNBF Radio has been a major voice for our community since its license was granted in 1927.

The gala will feature cocktails, dinner, entertainment, music and a silent auction to benefit CHOW.  Those who attend will be able to view WNBF memorabilia, photos and video from some of WNBF's major events.

WNBF will honor Bill Parker, "The Dean of Broadcasting" who was a featured member of WNBF's broadcast team for over 60 years.  In 2015 he was inducted into the New York State Broadcaster's Hall of Fame. Through his television and radio shows Bill touched the lives of tens of thousands in our community.

WNBF has been a news source for decades of major national and international events as well as a leader in providing news and information from around the Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pa.  From devastating floods, blizzards and fires to food drives, sports championships  and thousands of charity and fund-raising events News Radio 1290 WNBF has been proud to be the station you can depend on through good and bad times.
