Two Charged After Ithaca Cocaine Investigation

A Tompkins County man and woman were charged with drug-related counts after police say they seized crack cocaine from their apartment.

Authorities say 22-year-old Maiesha Harris and 21-year-old Christopher Arocho of Sapsucker Woods Road were arrested Thursday.

State police say Harris and Arocho were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators say 62 packets of crack cocaine and about $2,000 in cash were seized when the apartment was searched.

Harris and Arocho were arraigned in Ithaca town court. Harris was released on her own recognizance while Arocho was sent to Tompkins County Jail.
