Third Round Underway at Dick’s Open

The third and final round of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open is underway at En Joie Golf Club in Endicott.  Rain moved through the area this morning but play is on schedule with the top golfers set to tee off at 2:00 PM.  Paul Goydos and John Riegger are tied at 11 under par with total scores of 133.  Scott Dunlap is one stroke back after posting scores of 64 and 70 for a total of 134.

Two golfers are in at nine under par.  Wes Short Jr and Neil Lancaster stand two shots back.  Three golfers are three shots off the lead.  Those include Stephen Ames, 2013 Dick's Open winner Bart Bryant and 1992 B C Open winner John Daly.  Daly has had the biggest following of fans through his two rounds of play.

Play is expected to continue through the afternoon with the last golfers expected to finish around 6:30 PM.  News Radio 1290 WNBF will have reports from the Dick's Open until 1:00 PM and then following the Binghamton Mets game until a winner is crowned.
