The thirteen bird figurines that were put in place several weeks ago at Binghamton's ACA Memorial Park site are to be temporarily removed.

Binghamton city public works employees Wednesday began site preparation at a small green space that will be transformed into the American Civic Association Memorial Park.

The park will be dedicated to the memory of the thirteen people who were shot to death at the American Civic Association building on Front Street on April 3, 2009
