After a 142- game regular season schedule the Portland Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets are ready for the playoffs.  Portland won the Eastern Division regular season crown finishing with a record of 88-54.  Binghamton ended its season at 83-59...five games in back of the Sea Dogs.  The B-Mets were closing in on first place until a six game losing streak to close the season ended those hopes.

During the regular season Portland won the series with Binghamton 12-9.  The Eastern Division Championship is a best-of-five series so the team that wins three games advances to play the winner of the Western Division series between Akron and Richmond.

Two standouts get the ball for their respective teams tonight.  Tyler Pill will be on the mound for the B-Mets.  He has not suffered a loss since May 5th.  Brian Johnson won 10 games for the Sea Dogs and posts an ERA of 1.75.

Game time tonight and tomorrow night is set for 6:35 with air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
