Four standout Section 4 football teams have advanced to the New York State semi-final round.  All games will be played at Sahlens Stadium in Rochester. Section 4 winners matchup against winners between section 5 and 6 foes.  This week's winners advance to the

championship round at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse Thanksgiving weekend.

In Class D play Friday at 5 PM Tioga faces Randolph.  Then at 8 PM Friday the Union-Endicott Tigers meet Sweet Home in a Class A duel.

On Saturday Chenango Forks battles Hornell in a C semi-final at noon.  That will be followed by the Class B semi-final pitting Maine-Endwell against Alden.

All games are scheduled to be televised on Tim Warner Cable Sportschannel.
