Police: Owego Woman Stole More Than $50,000

A Tioga County woman has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars from her former employer.

Authorities say 47-year-old Maria McGuane of Owego is suspected of taking cash from Impresssions by Briana.

State police say the company is located in the town of Owego. It provides services to individuals, businesses and schools.

Investigators say McGuane worked for the company for about 13 years. She's suspected of stealing more than $50,000.

McGuane was arraigned in Owego town court and released pending further court action.
