Honors for Binghamton University standout freshman Imani Watkins keep coming.  Watkins has been named  the America East Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.  In two games she averaged 21.5 points per contest.

Watkins hit for 29 points in the Bearcats' victory over Rider on Sunday.  In her game against Siena she scored 14 points.  In 12 games this season Watkins is averaging 14.9 points per game.  She is the first Bearcat to earn America East Rookie of the Week honors three times since Jasbriell Swain in the 2010 -11 season.

Binghamton has now captured four Rookie of the Week awards so far in the 2014-15 season.  Jasmine Sina earned those honors on December 1.

The Bearcats are on their Christmas break and return to action this Sunday when they host Bucknell at the Events Center.  Tip-off is set for 2 PM with with airtime at 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
