More Honors for Binghamton University’s Sydney Harbaugh

Sophomore outfielder Sydney Harbaugh has been named to the second-team All-Mid Atlantic Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.  Harbaugh was honored by America East last week when she was named the Player of the Year.  She hit .366 with four home runs and 32 runs batted in.  In America East games Harbaugh hit .465 which was tops in the conference.  She also stole 31 bases and ranks 15th in the nation with .68 steals per game.

Harbaugh was the leadoff batter for the Bearcats and in two seasons at BU she has earned America East first - team all- conference honors twice.

Harbaugh is the fourth BU Bearcat to receive  NFCA All-Region honors since 2010.  The Bearcats had their season ended last week finishing third in the America East Championship Tournament played at Stony Brook.
