Parade To Be Held For State Champion Spartans

The Maine-Endwell Spartans football team captured the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class B Championship on Saturday at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse as they defeated Glens Falls 42-12.

The win was the Spartans 25th in a row and earns them their second consecutive state title.  M-E won the Class A Championship last year.

The community is invited to celebrate the team’s championship on Friday November 30th with a parade honoring the players, coaches and staff.  The parade will begin at 945 AM at the Maine-Endwell Middle School, 1119 Farm to Market Road in Endwell.  It will proceed from Farm to Market Road to Hooper Road and conclude at the Endwell Fire Station on Country Club Road.
