Binghamton Mets fans have waited since September, 2004 to cheer for their team in the Eastern League playoffs.  To quote music from The Chambers Brothers..."Time Has Come Today".  Binghamton is in Trenton to meet the Thunder at 7:05 tonight (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Division Championship Series will be played  at Arm & Hammer Park in Trenton.  In 17 games played against the Thunder this season the B-Mets went 10-7.  In five games in Trenton Binghamton went 3-2.

Noah Syndergaard makes his 12th start of the season for the B-Mets.  His record is 6-1 with an ERA of 3.00.  In two starts versus Trenton he got a no-decision and one victory.  Bryan Mitchell makes his fourth start for the Thunder.  He has no record at Double-A and was 4-11 in Class A Tampa.

Game 2 is also scheduled for a 7:05 start tomorrow night.  Game 3 will be at NYSEG Stadium Friday night at 7:05.  Should games 4 and/or 5 be needed they both would be played in Binghamton. Saturday's start is set for 7:05 with Sunday's game at 1:05 PM.
