Frank's Spicy Shrimp Linguini Recipe (prep. time 20 minutes. Serves 4; one, if you are my husband)

1 lb. peeled raw shrimp

1 package linguini

1/4 C. chicken wing style hot sauce

1/4 C. sour cream

2 slices American cheese

2 Tb. butter

1 Tb. olive oil

1 clove garlic, diced.

½ tsp. paprika

Heat a medium pot of liberally salted water to a boil for the pasta.  Place the pasta into boiling water to cook.  In a sauté  pan, heat oil and 1 Tb. butter over medium-high heat and add garlic. Saute for about 30 seconds until garlic starts to soften.  Add shrimp and cook until it just starts to curl and turn pink, flipping halfway through the process.  Stir in hot sauce.  Off heat, stir in sour cream, paprika and the cheese slices that have been broken into smaller pieces.  Stir until cheese is melted.  Drain pasta and toss with the remaining tablespoon of butter to coat (olive oil can be substituted for the butter.) Serve the spicy shrimp over noodles.  Garnish with more paprika and/or chopped parsley.

When I say 'Frank's' spicy shrimp, I think you know what I mean.
