Drugs Seized In Johnson City Apartment Search

Two Johnson City men were sent to Broome County Jail after police found marijuana and cocaine in their apartment early today.

Authorities say 36-year-old Kevin Andrews and 34-year-old Kevin Turner have been charged with felony possession of marijuana.

Investigators say Turner also faces two misdemeanor counts: possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police say they executed a search warrant in the suspects' Endicott Avenue apartment this morning.

According to investigators, marijuana and cocaine were seized, along with scales, packaging material and more than $1300 in cash.

The men were arraigned in Johnson City village court and were ordered held without bail.
