A Johnson City man is accused of making methamphetamine.

Johnson City Police responded to a call about a domestic incident on Broad Street June 30 and say they encountered materials that are commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Detectives with the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force along with the New York State Contaminated Crime Scene emergency Response Team were called and executed a search warrant at the home.

In addition to the materials the Johnson City Police Patrol spotted, additional materials were found along with several plastic bottles that were said to have been previously used to manufacture methamphetamine in the ‘one pot’ method.

43 year old Anthony Depersis is charged with felony unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
