Dick’s Sporting Goods Open Welcomes Back Defending Champion Bart Bryant

2013 Dick's Sporting Goods Open Champion Bart Bryant will return to defend his title at En Joie.  Bryant returned to Broome County today to greet fans and speak with members of the media during  a visit to Downtown Binghamton.

Bryant finished last year's tournament at 16 under par highlighted by a tournament- tying round of 62 on day two of the tourney.  He ended up winning by one stroke over Russ Cochran and Corey Pavin.

Prize money is once again a total of 1.85 million dollars.  Most of the top golfers on the Champions Tour have committed to play in this year's event which runs from August 11th - August 17.  The top four Schwab Cup points leaders will be competing.  They include: Bernhard Langer, Jay Haas, Colin Montgomerie and Kenny Perry.
