Cortland County Resort on Auction Block

The Greek Peak Ski Resort, it's Hope Lake Lodge and some adoining land are to be sold off.The Cortland County facility fell on hard times following an unseasonably warm winter last year and the lost of its creditor: Tennessee Commerce Bank, which was shut down by the federal government.

Greek Peak has been in bankruptcy since August.

A judge has set an auction date of March 19th to take bids, pending approval by the federal bankruptcy court. The final sale hearing is tentatively set for March 21st in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Syracuse.
