If you love all things maple, then Marathon is the place to be for the Central New York Maple Festival!

The 2018 Central New York Maple Festival will take place on Saturday, April 7th from 9am-5pm, and Sunday, April 8th from 9am-4pm. You don't have to worry about saving up all of your pennies because parking and admission to the Maple Festival are completely free. You should, however, prepare yourself because fun festivities and activities will be held on the streets of the village of Marathon, Marathon Civic Center and Pavilion, the gymnasium of the Marathon school, the cafeteria of the Marathon School, Mason's Hall. American Legion Hall and the restored Railroad Station.

At the Maple Festival, you and your family will have the opportunity to enjoy maple products, delicious foods, a juried craft show, historical exhibits, demonstrations, displays of quilts, helicopter rides, paintball, air-boat rides, and so much more. The Central New York Maple Festival has been a springtime tradition in Marathon for nearly 50 years and brings in people from all over New York, and beyond.

Bring your appetite because, in addition to hot, steamy pancakes, you'll also be able to chow down on maple pulled pork sandwiches, maple slathered elephant ears, maple flavored milkshakes, maple coffee and team, maple popcorn and more!

Looking for a way to justify all of the maple things you'll be eating over the course of the festival?  Well, the 4th Annual Maple Run for Relay will kick off the Maple Festival on Saturday, April 7th starting at 7:45am and will benefit the American Cancer Society. If you're interested in participating, this is where you'll find everything you need to know.

Marathon is centrally located- just 35 miles from Binghamton, 55 miles from Syracuse, 30 miles from Ithaca and 9 miles from Greek Peak. To find the festival, take Interstate 81 to exit 9.

Be sure to check out the full schedule of events and get ready for a weekend of all things mapley!
