BU Basketball Showcase This Friday

Fans who want to get an early look at the Binghamton Bearcats men's and women's basketball teams can do so this Friday night at the Events Center.  The BU Basketball Showcase is open to the public and sponsored by local Subway Restaurants.

Both the men's and women's teams will hold intra-squad scrimmages.  The men will hold a slam dunk contest , the BU Spirit Squad will perform and The Screamin' Green Pep Band will be on hand to entertain as well.

The first 1,500 fans who attend will receive a free BU Basketball t-shirt. The doors open at 6:30 PM and the Showcase gets underway at 7 PM.

The BU women's team opens their season at home against the University of Rochester at 7 PM on Tuesday, November 5th.  The men meet Bloomsburg, also at the Events Center at 2 PM on Saturday, November 2nd.  All games will again be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF and ESPN 1360 AM WYOS.
