Broome County’s Aviation Commissioner Takes a New Job

Broome Countyis searching for a new Commissioner of Aviation.  Carl Beardsley will be traveling south on Interstate 81 to take his next job.

Beardsley has accepted the position of executive director at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.

His last day in Broome County is December 19 with his work in  Wilkes-Barre starting January 2.

Broome County’s Deputy Commissioner of Aviation, David Hickling, will be managing the local airport until a replacement is hired.
