Investigators say a woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing gas royalty payments from a Bradford County man.

Authorities say 50-year-old Kristi Lynn Adams of Pike township was charged with forgery and theft by deception. She also was charged with theft by failure to make require disposition of funds received.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Adams is accused of forging a man's signature on several gas royalty checks during 2016 and 2017.

Investigators in Towanda did not say how much money was believed to have been stolen.
