Binghamton Women’s Basketball Hosts Vermont Today

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team hosts the Vermont Catamounts at 2 PM today at the Events Center.  BU brings a record of 4-15 into today's action and is 1-5 in America East competition.  The Catamounts are 2-4 in the conference and 5-14 overall.

In action earlier in the week the Bearcats lost in Hartford 66-42.  Stephanie Jensen led Binghamton in scoring with nine points.  In Vermont's last game also on Thursday, the Catamounts dropped an 83-49 decision to Stony Brook.

Kayla Burchill leads the Catamounts in scoring with an average of 10.9 points per game.  The Catamounts swept both games against the Bearcats last season.  The last Binghamton win in the series was at the Events Center on February 8, 2012.
