The Binghamton Mets open a three-game series with the Altoona Curve in Altoona tonight.  The first pitch is scheduled for 7 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Binghamton looks to snap a three-game losing skid after being swept by the Rock Cats in New Britain last weekend.  The B-Mets stranded 31 runners over the three-game series.  The three consecutive losses reversed Binghamton's momentum.  The B-Mets had won six of their last seven games at home during their last homestand.

Tonight, Tyler Pill makes his tenth start of the season and first against Altoona.  He puts a 2-5 record on the line.  The Curve will send Joely Rodriguez to the hill.  Rodriguez is 2-4 and brings a 4.21 earned run average into the game.

The B-Mets have played well at home but struggled on the road.  Binghamton has now lost eight straight away from home with the last road win coming on May 19 with a 5-0 victory over the Portland Sea Dogs.

Altoona has been having issues as well. The Curve is on a nine-game losing streak and are 20-36 on the season.  Binghamton is 30-25 going into tonight's game.
