The red-hot Binghamton Mets look for a series sweep tonight in Trenton.  Last night's 6-1 win set the stage for a second straight series-ending victory. Binghamton has now won six straight games. The B-Mets are 9-1 so far in the month of June.

Binghamton is now six games ahead of Portland and seven up on Trenton in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.  Tonight, Cory Mazzoni will make the start on the mound for Binghamton.  Nik Turley will be on the hill for the Thunder.

The B-Mets continue to have several of the top performers in the Eastern League.  The current Eastern League Player of the Week, Cesar Puello, is hitting .330 which is third best in the circuit.  Puello has hit 13 home runs and driven in 46 runs to far.

Rafael Montero and Logan Verrett are among the best pitchers in the league.  Montero is 7-3 with a 2.43 ERA.  Logan Verrett is among the leaders as well registering a slate of 7-2 with an ERA of 3.79.

Tonight's game in Trenton begins at 7:05 PM with airtime at 6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Tonight wraps-up Binghamrton's six game road swing.  The B-Mets return home to host the Bowie Baxsox this weekend.  Game one is set for tomororrow night at 7:05 PM at NYSEG Stadium.
