New York State is providing $100,000 in grant money to fund several park improvement projects in the City of Binghamton.

The money from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York will go to three city parks.

$50,000 dollars is earmarked to upgrade the infield and build new dugouts fencing, bleachers and an electric scoreboard at West End Park.

$25,000 is to go to a playground redesign and equipment at MacArthur Park.

The remaining $25,000 is headed to Valley Street Park for softball field upgrades.
