Binghamton Bearcats Women Face America East’s Best In Albany

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team will meet the regular season champion Albany Great Danes in the opening round of the America East Tournament in Albany tomorrow night.  The Great Danes are 25-4 this season and 15-1 in America East.  They suffered their only conference loss to Stony Brook this past weekend.  Until then they had an America East conference record winning streak of 38 straight wins.

The Bearcats are playing their best basketball since conference play began.  In the last two games of the regular saeason BU defeated Hartford 55-51 and went to double overtime in a 66-60 loss to UMBC last Saturday.

Binghamton's Vaneeshia Paulk is saving her best for last.  The senior guard has been outstanding throughout the season but really has caught fire this past week.  Paulk has averaged 21 points in her past two games including 24 against Hartford.
