The Binghamton Bearcats host the Albany Great Danes tonight at 7 PM at the Events Center.  Tonight's game continues the longest rivalry for the Bearcats.  The two teams first met at the Division III level in 1948 and this is the 9lst meeting between the two teams.  Since both have moved to Division I the Bearcats hold a 13-10 advantage.

In the last meeting between the two rivals Mike Black and Jacob Iati combined to score 43 points for the Great Danes to lead them to a 74-63 decision.  Those two return to pace Albany this season and average 31 points per game between them.

For the Bearcats Jordan Reed continues to sparkle averaging 16.9 points per game along with 10 rebounds per contest.  Reed has notched 7 double- doubles which puts him 11th in the nation.  Jimmy Gray tied a career high with 24 points in the Bearcats loss in Hartford on Wednesday.

Vermont upended the Great Danes on Saturday with a 70-45 decision.

That puts Albany's record at 12-4.  The Bearcats are 2-12 but have lost their last two outings by a combined 5 points.
