The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team hosts the Princeton Tigers tomorrow night at 7 (airtime at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at the Events Center.  It is the first ever meeting between the two teams.  BU enters the game with a 1-7 record while Princeton is 4-4.

The Bearcats only victory came against the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque over Thanksgiving weekend.  In Binghamton's last outing the Bearcats led St. Bonaventure by nine points at the half before falling 63-54.

Princeton competes in the Ivy League and is led in scoring by Blake Dietrick with a 13.5 points per game average .Kristen Helmstetter is also averaging double figures scoring at a 12 point per game clip.

Sherae Swinson tops Binghamton in scoring averaging 11.6 points per game.  Kandace Newry is the Bearcats leading rebounder with 6.4 rebounds per game.

The Bearcats follow their game with Princeton by playing six consecutive road games.  BU will not be on the Events Center floor again until Saturday, January 11 when they host Maine at 2 PM in an America East battle.
