Tommy Dempsey's men's basketball team is on the road today to play at UMass Lowell at 2 PM (airtime at 1:45 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Bearcats come in with a record of 1-7 in America East while the River Hawks are 4-4.  When the two teams met at the Events Center on January 11 UMass Lowell came away with a 71-59 victory.

Heading into today's game Jordan Reed continues to lead Binghamton in scoring and rebounding hitting for a 14.1 points per game average and 7.8 rebounds per contest.  Today is the first visit the Bearcats make to UMass Lowell since the River Hawks have become the newest members of America East.

Binghamton guard Yosef Yacob has scored in double figures in the last six games and is averaging 10.9 points a game.  Karon Waller has started seven games for BU and is averaging 7.6 points per contest.  He is averaging 3.7 rebounds as well.

Following today's game the Bearcats host the conference co-leader Stony Brook on Tuesday night.  Tip-
