The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is back in action tomorrow afternoon at 2 when they host the Radford Highlanders at the Events Center.  The two teams have met just once before.  That was in 2012 in the SearsBracketBusters series.  They played at Radford, Va. and the Highlanders posted a 64-59 win.

Binghamton comes into the game 1-3 while Radford is 2-1.  The Bearcats haven't played since last Saturday when Navy topped BU 68-50 at the Events Center.  BU shot 28 percent from the floor and made just 6 shots in 22 attempts in the second half.  The hot perimeter shooting displayed in the second half at Cornell was not present versus Navy.  The Bearcats made just two three-point shots in 19 attempts versus the Mids.

The Highlanders suffered a road loss at George Washington and then defeated Chattanooga and Division II Brevard to move to 2-1.  The Highlanders are members of the Big South Conference and finished 13-19 last season.  Forward Javonte Green leads his team in scoring averaging 16.7 points per game.  Ya Ya Anderson also scores in double figures hitting for 13 points per game.

Binghamton's top-gun continues to be Jordan Reed, the America East Co-Player of the Week. The standout sophomore is averaging 17.3 points per game and also has an average of 12.5 rebounds per outing.  Also in double figures in scoring for the Bearcats are Nick Madray at 15.8 points per game and Marlon Beck right behind with an average of 14.8.   Tomorrow's game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF with airtime at 1:50 PM.
