After just a three-game homestand the Binghamton Mets are back on the road as they travel to Akron for a five-game series against the RubberDucks. Start time is 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton salvaged a win yesterday with a 7-3 decision over the New Britain Rock Cats at NYSEG Stadium.  The Rock Cats won the first two games in the series.

Cody Satterwhite notched his third win of the season in relief work against the Rock Cats.  Rylan Sandoval drove in the winning run with an eighth inning single.

Tonight right-hander Hansel Robles gets the start for Binghamton.  In his last outing he worked 4.2 innings against Altoona and gave up five runs in taking the loss.  Tonight he makes his third start of the season against the RubberDucks.  Opposing him is another right-hander, Duke von Schamann who is 2-0 this season.

Binghamton comes into the game with a 32-29 slate while the RubberDucks are 38-24.  The B-Mets are 2-4 in six previous meetings versus Akron.  The B-Mets play 20 of their next 30 games on the road.  Binghamton's current road record is 11-17.  The B-Mets have lost 10 of their last 11 road games.  The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 5:35 PM.
