As this year's Binghamton High School Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner enters its final preparations, organizers want to make sure that Southern Tier residents are aware of the changes to the event.

A shuttle bus service has been established for the 18th annual dinner.  First Student bus service has donated their buses and drivers to help community members get to the event at the Binghamton High School.

Shuttle buses will start picking up passengers at 11:00 a.m. and will provide continuous service to and from the Binghamton High School until 1:30 p.m.  After 1:30, buses will only be shuttling people from the school.

Shuttle #1 will pick up passengers from the Franklin Elementary School on Conklin Avenue and the North Shore Towers on Isbell Street.

Shuttle #2 will have stops at the Greater Binghamton Transportation Center on Chenango Street and the First Ward Senior Citizen Center on Clinton Street.

Organizers say that due to the expansion of the dinning area and the newly implemented shuttle service, there will be no home delivery or take home meal service this year.

The dinner is funded by community donations and staffed solely by volunteers.  Anyone wishing to donate towards the dinner may do so by sending a check to:
