Work Resumes at National Pipe Project Site in West Endicott

After a two-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, construction operations are getting back underway in the town of Union for a planned office building.

Groundbreaking for the $5 million National Pipe and Plastics project in West Endicott occurred more than a year ago.

The 23,000-square-foot corporate headquarters facility is being built on the site of an abandoned Endicott Johnson shoe factory on North Page Avenue.

National Pipe and Plastics moved its manufacturing operations from Vestal to West Endicott in 2014.

The company now plans to relocate its corporate offices on Vestal Road to the property that's located just east of the production facility.

National Pipe and Plastics president David Culbertson did not return a call seeking information about when the project now is expected to be completed.
