Fans are not able to buy tickets yet for one of the two nearby music events marking the 50th anniversary of Woodstock.

While tickets for the concerts in Watkins Glen were expected to go on sale April 22, the website now says the tickets will be on sale “soon.”

There reportedly has been a delay in filing the necessary permit paperwork, including applications for water and sewer, traffic control and other health and safety issues for the August 16 to 18th event at Watkins Glen International.

The New York State Department of Health is reportedly currently reviewing hundreds of pages of information for the application to hold a mass gathering at the speedway in August.

Other celebrations of the iconic festival of music, peace and love are being held at the original location in Bethel, New York on the anniversary.
