Woman Accused of Driving While Really Drunk

An Apalachin woman is accused of driving with a blood alcohol content at more than twice the legal limit.

New York State Police say they arrested 57 year old Brenda Kellam following a crash on Long Creek Road in the Town of Owego at 8:56 p.m April 26.

Authorities say Kellam crashed into a tree.

She is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and was ordered to appear in Town of Owego Court at a later date.

Troopers say Kellam had a blood alcohol content of over .18%.
